What is causing my bathroom vanity lights and fan not to work?

In my know bathroom (attached to master bedroom) I have vanity lights (only lighting in the bathroom), a fan, and one outlet. The fan and the vanity lights are separate units. Last edge of night, there was a thunderstorm and lightning, but given the circumstances, I don't think it's causing my problem. Last night, I turned off my lights and fan, and when I attempted to crop up them on again, they did not work. The outlet, which I believe would be connected to the same power source as the lights and fan, does trade. I attempted to switch all the circuit breakers on and off to no avail. FYI the circuit breaker is for the entire master bedroom, or at least labeled as so; so I would pretend to it encompasses the master bathroom as well. My guess would be it should be related to the switch, since it is related only to the lights and fan, and not the sole relief. Can anybody else think of any other possibilities or suggestions what to do?

Look for a GFI breaker or can and reset it with the button. Modern bathrooms are required by code to be on their own circuits.

What color should we paint our bathroom vanity?

We are updating our boarder bathroom and would like to paint the vanity. It is a double vanity with oak cabinetry (but it is beat up) and beige countertop. We are replacing the beating up wall trim with new painted white trim and the walls are going to be a dark khaki color. We were cogitative that paining it white would be to stark and might not look good with the beige countertop. Would it look information to paint the vanity the same dark khaki color as the walls?

I would go sad with the vanity. I'd try to refinish the oak with a walnut or Jacobean frinish, or paint it a deep rich brown.
