West Coast Trends in Bathroom Vanities

There are many new trends in bathroom vanities that family owners and interior designers are exploring these days, particularly in trendsetting areas like Southern California. Some of the most innovative bathroom vanity ideas in the Collective States have come out of design hubs like Los Angeles and other metropolitan areas near the skim. Many of the most innovative homes in the United States hover around the coastline of the Southwestern United States where the sand, not be sensible, desert, forests and other natural wonders inspire beautiful designs. But you don’t have to live near the California coastline to develop these trends in bathroom design.

The main focus of the current trends in bathroom vanities is a shift from soft legendary looks to very modern and stylistic designs. Whether it’s a single or double bathroom vanity, the preferred style of the moment is very clean, linear, and yet non-chemical. Has anyone ever tried to wall mount cabinetry to make a modern bathroom vanity?

My soft-pedal and I are trying to do a low cost rehab of a large bathroom. I found a tv stand that is a perfect fit if we can somehow wall mount it for a floating impact and add vessel sinks and a glass countertop. The only problem is that the piece is heavy and we have metal studs for the most part. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

You call for to find the center of the metal studs, either with a stud finder or use a very small diameter nail and jog through the wall to find the edges of the stud. The next stud should be 16 inches apart. Find the center for both studs where you indigence to mount the TV stand.

You may need to use 4 right angle brackets to hold the the tv stand. 2 at the top and 2 at the bottom. Next practice holes into the metal studs at the height that you want the brackets and secure them to the wall with metal screws.

I would hint at a # 10 metal screw at lest 1.5 inches long or larger. Use a practice bit that is smaller then the diameter of the screw under the threads.

Cheap Modern Bathroom Vanity?

I'm looking for a Bathroom vanity thats not to costly under four hundred idealy, but I would fondness something modern and a vessel sink, any ideas where to shop? (homedepot does not have what I want!)

Check up on your local Craig's list...or maybe even a flea market or yard sales...something habituated to that you can finish or paint yourself will help with keeping the cost down :)
