I Love Lucy Award

I was in fact given this award by Kat over at Candle, Crafts and Whatnot back at the end of August so I profusely apologize to her for not getting to it sooner. I have to allow I'm more of a Ralph Kramden (The Honeymooners) fan but hey, it's all about awarding people and their blogs for cheering people up. So of course, I was honored to have Kat present me with this award. This award is probably the hardest for me to give out since there are so many blogs out there that I stop by that cheer me up but I'll try to pick a few. Lin over at a Duck and Neighbourhood with String always manages to come up with some great posts that make me laugh as does Don over at Beyond Left Division.
Those are the funny ones that always cheer me up but all the animal blogs also work wonders. Nothing cheers me up more than cute animals such as those llamas over at Split Ruined Ranch or Pricilla and the other goats here. I also include all of you who post photos of your cats or dogs for all of us to see. I probably should have done a job working with animals because they lift up me up the most. So thanks Kat and thanks to everyone who has managed to be able to cheer me up during these rotten times....goodness knows I've needed it at!

I have all the episodes of I Love Lucy on DVD's. And i was having a marathon of lucy and i was watching the first condition. The pilot and i got past it but than i watch the 1st episode on the 2nd disk in the first season. And is it just me or r they pretty much equivalent. Just in a different apartment and a bigger band.
The steersman, if you noticed, was on a kinescope that Desi Arnaz gave to his friend and fishing buddy Pepito Perez ("Pepito the Spanish Fool"), a popular Mexican movie comedian of the era who guest-starred on the show. His widow turned in the sheet to CBS in 1990.
As for the episode itself, there are a couple of major differences between it and the series episode you mention...namely no Mertzes, a bigger federate and a larger apartment set than what was seen on the series episodes.

What are some good ideas for a homecoming skit - I Love Lucy ?
Jul 09, 2009 by Becca Boo | Posted in Theater & Acting
I am in demand of the homecoming skit this year and the theme is I Love Lucy. I need to incorporate I Love Lucy and a football game. I have a few ideas but I basic some more ideas. Please help!
How about if Ricky and Fred receiving a
autographed football of a vast someone.
They bring it home, display it.
Lucy gives it to Little Ricky to play with.
Then she washes it viewpoint Little Ricky
got it dirty (removing the autograph).
As she washes it string on the football comes
unlaced and the stuffing comes out.
She puts it aside. Later she learns about
the autograph ball and Lucy and Ethel try
to re-crap and sign it. Only at the conclusion
sign it "Homecoming 2009".
