We all see what happens today. I wanna be sure DO YOU BELIVE IN PEACE. I dont mean any peace, i mean the real peace-world whitout hate, no terorism, no killings. Do you suppose that the time will come when people of the earth will live in peace for ever, till The Last Day. Love for all, is it possible???
La la la la give peace a incidental! All we are saaaying is give peace a chance...
Sorry, I couldnt resist. Yes I think world peace is possible. But the thing is, is this:
"You must be the metamorphose you wish to see in the world"-
Mohandas Gandhi
Which means, basically, if you want to see to the max peace, you have to live peacefully, love everyone, forgive and forget, etc. Everything that is necessary for world peace, you have to do it yourself. Its not enough to stand around asking if exactly peace will ever happen, that wont do anything. Actions speak louder than any words. If everyone starts living the untroubled, loving way, things will change. But someone has to start and lead by example. You cant rely on anyone else to do this. You have to do it yourself. And by the way, these arent a moment ago empty words, everything I'm asking you to do, I do myself. I can tell you from experience, that living like this, its great. Really, you give out infatuation and peace, and (for the most part) thats what you get back. Anyways, Im rambling now, so yes, it is possible.
peace

Not on this ground. Only in heaven.
People are put on earth as a test, and we are made to suffer to test us and see how we handle ourselves and stress and can we keep our dependence through it.
So, even if there weren't wars going on and stuff, there would still be internal and personal strife.

Considering Volunteering with the Peace Corps or a Similar Organization - Where should I go?
Apr 06, 2009 by cherrylips1015 | Posted in Community Service
I am everything considered joining the Peace Corps (or a similar private organization) for anywhere between a month to four months after I graduate in June. I'd tender to go to an African nation or a former Soviet territory. Any recommendations as to which country I should request?
I'd like to profession with kids, possibly receive a small amount of medical training to become a nurse (or something similar).
Also, do you regard as I should go with the Peace Corps, or a private organization?
Thank you!
I'm currently 17, turning 18 in October.
Okay, first off, I take over by your age you mean you are graduating high school and not college.
Therefore, I am going to tell you the god’s honest genuineness, though I am sure you do not want to hear it.
You will not qualify for a funded volunteer abroad organization, esp. not Peace Squad.
Reasons you are not a good match for Peace Corps right now:
-You need to be at least 18 years old
-You must have a college slowly or over 5-7 years experience in your field
-You must commit to serve at least 27 months
-You do not get to pick the woods or region you want (don’t listen to anyone who tells you that you can pick your region. I put down my first 3 choices as Africa and I ended up in South America).
You can fix for something like a volunteer vacation. You will pay a lot of money to do this. You can apply to study abroad (this is a much better alternative). You can join a church mission, but honestly, I see a lot of missionaries, many do more harm then good, they ones who are believable have a lot of experience, that you are too young to have.
Your best bet to do something like the Peace Corps is to go to University and work on a Bachelor’s quite b substantially. Study something you love and during your senior year apply for the Peace Corps. Then you can go when you are done with school. But make inevitable you are ready for the 27 Month long commitment.
