How do you use home fragrance oil?

I received a piddling bottle of Crabtree and Evelyn home fragrance oil as a gift. Is this safe to put directly on lightbulbs or will it give off a burned lavender odor? How else do you use it to ventilate the home?

I concur - don't put it on the lightbulbs. It could give off a burnt odor or not, but oil and electricity aren't a great mix! (:

I like the first answer. You can also put a few drops in a beeline on fabric (color and stain test a small area first) such as your sheets, the back area of a curtain, the confidential of a lampshade, in between couch cushions, on the inside of hand towels, etc. Anyplace it won't change/spoil the color and/or get on your and guests' clothing.

And you can use it in potpourri to either refresh scent that's gone, or in making your own redolence with unscented potpourri.

Any way you use it such as the above two, you can refresh every so often by either spritzing with water (safely, electricity off if it's on a lampshade, lol) or when that stops working, adding a one more drops.

Don't put it on lightbulbs.

I drudgery at Bath and Body Works, and they sell frag. oil too. You put it in a special oil burner and light a candle under it.

I have seen these sparse rings that you can put on your lightbulbs and then put the oil in the ring, but I would not advise putting the oil on the bulb itself, as it could stain your stuff. And who knows what it'll do when it leaks into the electrical part of the lamp.

What's the basics for blending essential oil for home fragrance?

I'm planning on making my own home fragrance oil to put on a diffuser but I don't recollect what essential oil to buy. Can you give me a basic recipe blend?

edict a fragrance that u like (bolek's .com is great, lots of different ones) and find out how many drops goes into how ever much douse ur using, then fill up the diffuser and enjoy, watch out for REALLY strong scents

im assuming that u excellent like a room diffuser
