We have all seen the in night commercials about foundation that is put on with a brush. (swirl, tap, and apply) Also Neutrogena is also coming out with a powder foundation that is put on with a brush. No offense, but what does the powder favour onto? If you use normal powder it holds onto the foundation. How does ths new powder foundation stay on?

It seeps into your pores and adheres itself via your standard oils. Bare Minerals/Escentuals likes to market their formula as being rich in vitamins, for this common sense. But.. stay away from powder especially if you're young and especially anything from a drugstore. You'll look like a powderpuff.

What's the peculiarity between powder and foundation... i went to go buy some foundation and i saw powder too but it looks like foundation as well.... ?

Powder is predominantly for setting makeup and controlling shine. Some people do use it in lieu of foundation, though most people want foundation because it will take under one's wing greater overage.

Also now there are a lot of great mineral foundations which are in powder form. These are very light but still provide the coverage most people thirst. It's what I use.
