What element is black and powdery?

I have a huge scheme to identify elements and i have know idea at all, think you could help? it is scentless and feels like sand. it is also vulgar and is a conductor of electricity. it is a well known element, according to my teacher. thank you for any help provided.

this is a difficult one to pin down. many metals, when finely divided, look like a black power. I suspect it is a metal due to it's conductivity.

Can you remember the name of the body spray that was huge in the early 80's?

It had unconventional fragrances, was in a metal can (like hairspray), was smaller than hairspray can, you sprayed it on, it was powdery soft smelling, & was genuinely great. I wish I could think of what it was called & I wish they still made it! OH YEAH! And the commercials were a big deal! This was out when I was in towering school about 1981-1983.
